Rained all night ....pitter, patter on the roof. Great for sleeping in. Short drive today from Grande Prairie to Dawson Creek, BC and another time change. It does not get dark till 10:30 and it is light again at 4 in the morning. As we are heading west and north the oil life can be seen- trucks everywhere, parks pull of trailers and 1/2 tons, neighbourhoods with a big 1/2 or ton truck in every driveway,and oil rigs on the farm land. Along the way Bernie washed the RV in Beaverlodge, AB and we rolled into Dawson Creek early afternoon. Dawson Creek is mile 0 of the Alaskan Highway. Staying with Uncle Neil and Iris for a couple of days.
