Another beautiful day and we are in the city of Stavanger, population around 150,000 and a hub for the oil and gas sector. We had a walking tour of the city which included a visit to the Norse Oljemuseum ( Its exhibits explain how oil and gas are created, disovered and produced, and what they are used for and how it influences Norwegian society) and the oldest part of Stavanger where many of the houses were brought to the city from other parts of Norway, log by log. After lunch we set sail for Oslo so the afternoon was spent in the spa, exercise room, listening to music, reading, enjoying the water view.
